Unfortunately I'm having to put my Sun Conure, Mango, up for sale. I've had him for about 18 months and he has been wonderful, obviously when I bought him I planned on having him a lot longer but I work very unsociable hours and sleep during the day so I really don't feel like he is getting the quality of life or attention he deserves. Additionally, I'm looking to move out soon into a smaller flat soon which really won't give him the space he needs either.
I had other parrots growing up but he is the first bird I've fully taken care of myself and he has been a dream, he likes to be played with and handled, he likes to sit at a window and chirp at the pigeons, and his favourite hobby is dancing. There are also 2 cats and a German shepard where im living currently and they all get on fairly well, so he is used to other pets. He has also been introduced to younger children and he is fine with them as well. He knows a couple of commands, he will fly to you if you ask him to "come here" he will give you a kiss if you ask him to. And on a few occasions I've managed to get him to roll over. His favourite foods are peanuts (in the shells) and apple slices. He also really tries his best to imitate words but sun conures aren't known for being able to speak so its mostly just squeaking to the rhythm of phrases he hears.
I'm not 100% sure on age or gender. I got him at around 8 months old, about a year and a half ago but can't remember exactly when so he will be around 2 years. I've got him a much larger cage recently to try and improve his quality of life, (I've included a picture of that beacuse most of the videos are in his old cage) He will also come with all the food and toys he currently has, as well as a travel cage for getting him home and to the vets etc.
He is full of personality, very sociable and friendly and he is great for less experienced bird owners like I was. I'm located just north of Bristol, not looking to make a profit, just asking to get back what I paid for him which was £500. feel free to send a message if you have any questions or would like more pictures.
