Description
Brandon is in foster in Essex.
When Brandon first arrived with us from Romania, he was a nervous little soul—frightened, shut down, and unsure of the strange new world around him. Even a gentle stroke seemed like a big ask. But fast forward just four weeks, and our beautiful boy is now a proper cuddle connoisseur!
These days, Brandon loves nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa (preferably with a warm human attached), trotting along on walks with his tail doing a happy dance, and sniffing every interesting scent the great outdoors has to offer. Oh, and food. Brandon really loves his food. Treats? Absolute highlight of the day.
He’s still a bit shy around new people—but give him a moment, and he’ll realise you’re the bringer of snacks and belly rubs, and that’s a fast track to his heart. He’s even started enjoying being brushed, sitting like the goodest boy while his gorgeous coat gets some pampering.
Brandon would do brilliantly as either an only dog or with a calm older female companion. He hasn’t been tested with cats, so that’s an unknown for now.
Handsome, gentle, and full of love once he trusts you—Brandon is more than ready to find his forever home. Could that be with you?
His Story
We first met Brandon in one of the worst private shelters in Romania—a place no dog should ever have to call home. He was so terrified that we couldn’t even coax him out of his cage for a photo. In fact, Brandon was, without question, one of the most frightened dogs we’ve ever encountered.
We later discovered that Brandon had once had an owner. But when they no longer wanted him, they abandoned him at a kill shelter. Thankfully, a kind-hearted woman we work with in Romania heard about Brandon and couldn’t bear the thought of leaving him there. After a few weeks, she managed to get him out—but the only space she had available was in that dreadful private shelter where we found him.
It was clear to us: Brandon needed out. He deserved so much more than fear and neglect.
Brandon comes with full rescue back up. Adoption donation and home check apply.
