Boggie is a stunning 1-year-old Sharpei/French Bulldog cross with a huge personality and even bigger heart. He is full of life, fun, and energy – everything you’d expect from a young dog at this age. Once he trusts you, he shows nothing but love, loyalty, and affection.
In the home, Boggie is an absolute joy. He is calm, gentle, and obedient, and he thrives on love and companionship. He currently lives happily alongside cats and even a ferret, and he respects their space. He’s well-mannered indoors, clean in the house, and uses his crate as a safe and comfortable space where he can relax and unwind.
Boggie adores human company and bonds closely with his people. He is incredibly loyal and protective of those he loves. His playful, cheeky nature will make you smile every day – he’s a character who loves attention and enjoys being part of family life.
However, as with many young dogs, Boggie does have areas that need a bit more time and training. He can be reactive in public spaces, especially around other dogs and children. This behavior doesn’t show at home – there he’s calm and well-behaved – but outside he can become unsure and wants to assert himself. A home without young children would be ideal, and plenty of space to run, play, and explore would suit him perfectly.
Boggie comes from a lovely line – his dad, a pure Sharpei, had a similar temperament when young and grew into the most loyal, loving companion who was cherished for many years. We see so much of him in Boggie and truly believe he will become just as wonderful with the right person by his side.
