We’ve had Kimbo for 5months, brought from here as previous owner and his wife split and he was unable to take Kimbo to his new home. He was raised from a pup and around 4 young children all his life.
Kimbo is the most loving , soppiest, sweetest boy who is/was a protective nanny dog. He never leaves our 4yr old side.
Last night Kimbo was barking and growling at my 15yr old sons friend, said friend has been round the house plenty and Kimbo has never had a problem with him before.
Kimbo was barking loudly in his crate , my husband tried to soothe him, when he shut the crate door Kimbo intentionally bit his hand drawing blood.
We’ve noticed recently he’s become more grumbly, barking and defiant with us and aggressive when teenage sons (15 & 18) friends have friends over. We put it down to hormone inbalance as he was castrated 3weeks ago.
We don’t want to take him to vets or Battersea incase they do the unthinkable.
Previous owner said this has never happened before and prior to last night we wouldn’t have believed he was capable of it. He has been incredible with our 5 children and 3 cats.
We don’t believe it would happen again but he can’t be around our children and can’t go to anyone who has children. Someone with lots of love and land is the dream.
He will come with plenty of raw meat, crate, toys, leads etc.
