Jordi is a 4-year-old domestic shorthair. Since we moved to Manchester, he has become quite aggressive toward our other cat. Despite trying various reintroduction techniques, we haven’t been able to resolve the issue.
Because of this, we are looking for a new home for Jordi, somewhere he can be loved and well cared for, ideally as the only pet. He does not get along with other cats or dogs, so if you have other animals, he likely will not be a good fit.
Jordi has a big personality. He loves chin scratches and back rubs, but he is the kind of cat who comes to you on his own terms. He is also quite vocal, especially when he smells something tasty like tuna.
This is a really difficult decision, as I have many great memories and photos with him. But for Maisie’s safety, we have had to make this choice.
To reiterate he is not violent at all towards humans, we're not entirely sure as to why he behaves like this with Maisie when he is neutered, from conversations we have had, it might be due to activating a prey drive in cats as she runs away from him.
