It is with a very heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for our beloved boy, Ollie. He has been a part of our family since he was 8 weeks old, but due to major life changes—including our eldest daughters moving out and demanding work schedules—Ollie is spending too much time alone. We know this isn't fair to a dog of his nature, and we want him to have the active, fulfilled life he deserves.
About Ollie
Heritage: Ollie comes from a working farm in Wales, bred from active working parents.
Personality: He is incredibly affectionate and simply adores people. He thrives on human companionship and will be your most loyal shadow.
Energy: Like a true Border Collie, he loves the outdoors and physical activity. Interestingly, he is very clean and prefers not to do his business in the garden—he loves his walks and needs that mental and physical stimulation.
Status: Ollie is not neutered. Because of this, he has a strong territorial instinct. He would do best as the only dog in the household, as he may find it difficult to live with other dogs (especially males).
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an active owner or a family who understands the needs of this breed. Ideally, someone who:
Has plenty of time to spend with him (he hates being alone).
Has a secure garden or access to open spaces where he can run.
Is prepared for a dog that needs both exercise and "brain work."
