Not a happy post to be having to write but unfortunately I’ve had to come to the decision as a family to rehome our boy. Absolutely no fault to him but he and my older dog just don’t get along. He will not back down to the older dog which is resulting in confrontation and it’s not nice to see. I think max would be more settled in a house with no other dogs. We have had him since a puppy so he has only been with us and we know all his background plus his parents are still in our family. Given the Caucasian shepherd background he is very protective with his own family and wary of new people, once you get to know him he is such a loving loyal boy who protects everyone in his home. Can be very nervous around new surroundings but honestly is the most gentle giant you could ask for and I want him to get spoilt with all the love and attention he deserves in a home with a loving family. All he wants is to be laid by your side getting fussed. I want him to go to a loving home who have time for him and know how to deal with a big dog, he is 45kg. Max is neutered too.
