I have mum and dad here, Bear was one of their litter pups. Bear was born on the 11th of February this year. he is a gorgeous mix of the American akita and chow chow.
he has been chipped and had his first vaccination and i didnt continue his vaccinations as i dont believe in it, you may carry it on, he has been wormed and flea treated.
unfortunately I have to make the hard decision to rehome Bear as I haven't got the time to give him the full training and complete his needs. he is food aggressive with other dogs and people when food is around, he has even had a few fights with his dad because of it.
He is a lovely dog and loves to give kisses. because he is greedy and loves food he is easy to train. he's learnt sit, lie down, roll over, paw, other paw, leave it and stay.
I will NOT allow him to go to a home with kids with special needs or under 14 because of the way he is around food. I do not recommend bringing Bear into your house if you have other dogs but that will be up to you as I have already recommended not too. he is fine with his mum and dad if food isn't around and they are separated when feeding to stop the risk of my 14 year old severely autistic and non verbal and tip toes getting near bear and he growls, same as my 11 year old sister. he hovers around kids when they have food and will jump up and snatch with no bite to the hand if un supervised.
Bear just needs some training around his food aggression and he will be perfect within a home.
