🐾 About Amara 🐾
Amara is one big puppy who truly believes she’s the size of a rabbit – and behaves like it too. She’ll curl herself into the tiniest ball, sneak onto the sofa for snuggles, and watch the world with wide, curious eyes.
Although she’s large in size, she’s got the heart of a delicate little flower. She’s shy when she first meets people – she might even freeze or flinch when approached – but deep down, she wants to trust. And once she does, you’ll see her silly, sweet, and utterly loveable personality come alive.
She’s soppy, sensitive, and desperately ready to belong to someone. Her favourite things? A cosy sofa, a slow hand reaching out with kindness, a doggy friend to play with, and of course – a treat or two for being brave.
Amara is still very much a puppy at heart – full of potential, full of softness, and learning more about the world every day. She's been well socialised with dogs and cats, and would thrive in a calm, loving home that can offer her the time and patience to blossom.
📖 Her Story 📖
Born into fear and abandonment, Amara was dumped outside a shelter gate in North Macedonia as a tiny pup, alongside her siblings. Slowly, one by one, they were adopted... but Amara was left behind – too timid, too unsure, too overlooked.
We fostered her to give her a second chance here in the UK – and it’s time her forever family found her.
🏡 The Home Amara Needs:
Amara will do best in a peaceful, supportive home with:
✔️ A calm and confident resident dog (not essential but ideal!)
✔️ Humans who are home often and happy to let her settle at her pace
✔️ Children aged 7+ who understand gentle boundaries
✔️ Access to a secure garden to explore and potter around
✔️ Patience, love and the willingness to celebrate small wins 🐾
🩺 Health: Amara is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, Brucella tested, flea/worm treated and has her own passport. She’s a healthy girl ready for a lifetime of love.
💤 Fun fact: She’s a serial snorer. It's adorable.
