KIKI SAYS HEY š
One of Kikiās favourite things (apart from dinner time) is to sit and wave her paw at you until she receives a fuss š„° but her journey with us certainly didnāt start that way. Kiki has been with us for 3 years next month and it took her a while to settle into life after Romania.
Kiki arrived with us in February 2021 with a litter of 4 pups who have all been rehomed with us. Kiki is happy enough in the house but it's become clear that no matter how much we want it for her she just doesn't enjoy going out for a walk. She becomes panicked and makes desperate attempts to get away from the situation. When we have taken her to the field she refuses to move and finds a bush to hide in š
We are looking for a calm, quiet and patient adult only home for Kiki who are happy just to let her stay home and be comfortable. Hopefully with a nice garden as she does enjoy the garden. She is small sized, spayed and 4 years old.
She currently lives with other dogs and generally gets on well with them but she can sometimes be mean and doesn't like to share things, especially food. She is very food obsessed and will steal from the other dogs bowls. She is a little overweight and we have put her on a diet but her sneaky food thief paws find their own ways!
Kiki is very loving and lives for belly rubs. Her whole body wiggles when sheās happy and after the state she arrived in, itās a pleasure to see. She is playful and silly at times once she has learnt to trust you. She would love to be someone's faithful companion and share a space on the sofa. We know she would steal her persons heart (as well as their food).
Kiki needs to live with another dog for comfort and to learn the ropes. She gets on better with male dogs.
Kiki is housetrained and crate trained. We are able to cat test her if needed.
We are at a limit of what more we can do in foster and want the best for Kiki.
Please share this post. Look how far sheās come from being untouchable, terrified and constantly out of sorts, to a loving, happy and silly lady!
If you feel you can offer Kiki an adult only home with another dog, just to let her be and be happy, please send us a message šš¾
