Feathered Friends is an exotic bird and animal rescue, rehabilitation, education, and adoption shelter. We provide a safe place for parrots and other animals that need to be rehomed due to unfortunate circumstances. Most of them were loved dearly and cared for, and when that was no longer possible, their companion-people made the most selfless act of kindness in finding them a good home.
Until then, we offer temporary housing and compassionate care for all birds and animals in need. We educate the public on the proper care of exotic birds and strive to find healthy, happy, and nurturing homes for those eligible for adoption.
There are also occasions when birds or parrots remain with us permanently. This is usually the case when they have behavioural issues, health problems, or require long-term intervention. In such situations, we always act in the bird’s best interest.
In certain situations some also stay with us if that’s an agreement we have had with previous owners. (This may be due to wanting to stay in contact and sometimes maybe visit from time to time) If we can accommodate this and this would be the option for yourself. We can discuss this in detail.
With over 15 years of experience caring for birds and parrots, we are dedicated to providing each one with the expertise, understanding, and environment they need to thrive.
We are based in the West Midlands but are able to accept exotic birds from across mainland UK.
