Description

Ive had Black Barron for about three years. He was a stray and we suspect he has spent much of his life on the streets. He is elderly and we suspect he is about 16 years or older. He is loved but I am travelling for about a year and unfortunately I cant take him and he also doesn't like to travel (even to the vets :). He is good natured although he likes his own space. I decided a while ago not to get him neutered because he is frail and I though it would be unfair on him. So he doesn't like other cats and he is territorial. He sleeps a great deal (about 20 hours of more). He is generally in good order and has had vet treatment (teeth removed). He does have kidney trouble and I treat that with Royal Canin Renal food. He also has Royal Canin Digestive food that helps maintain his poos. Despite him being a stray for much of his life he is fussy with his food! I also comb him and clean his ears regularly as that is needed. He is affectionate but he shows it in his way so he's not a typical snuggler or stroker. Ive had a number of cats and he stands out from them all. He is quite special and its tough letting him go. He needs a home that preferably has outdoor space. Although he wont wander far, he likes to pop out and sit in the sun when its there. The new owner will preferably not have any other pets or children and have a space that he can go to that is quiet and away from activity. I am looking for someone to take him on but I am open to taking him back on my return if needed. Please feel free to contact me to chat more about BB. Many thanks Satyavasin
