DescriptionNoa is 18 months old and travelled to the UK in June last year. Sadly, her home offer didn’t work out and she went to temporary foster after just 2 weeks. There was an incident in the foster home and sadly after just 24 hours she was then brought to kennels in Suffolk. She has now been in kennels for 9 months😔
She has had one failed adoption in that time. Unfortunately, she was fearful of a male in the household and the adopter found it too stressful to work through her fear, so she came back to kennels after just 2 weeks.
So, a bit about her character….she’s playful, loves other dogs, is fine with cats and is incredibly intelligent. During her time in kennels, she has learnt all the basics, and much more. She loves learning new things and thrives on one to one attention and training. She would make a great agility dog!
She’s mixed breed, but we’re pretty certain there’s quite a lot of collie in her. So, she needs plenty of mental stimulation and enough physical activity to keep her happy.
She loves toys and like playing with them with her humans. She also loves her food and is currently on a raw food diet, with natural treats to keep her content when in the kennel.
She has responded really well to the training she’s had and this is something that any potential adopter will need to continue with. She needs the training for mental stimulation, but it also helps build the absolutely crucial bond between her and her human.
She adores cuddles, and will happily snuggle in to you. Sadly, being in a kennel, these moments for her are limited😔
She’s ready to find her forever family….but it has to be the right family. She’s not keen on men and finds them scary….we have worked on this, but it will need continued work, if there’s males in the home, or visiting.
What she needs is stability, continued training and support for her fears. She needs her humans to understand when she’s scared and help her make the right choices.
If you can offer all of the above and are committed to giving her enough time to settle in, decompress and learn that’s she’s safe and not going anywhere, then you will be rewarded with the most loving, fun dog you could ever imagine.
She deserves so much more than we can offer her in a kennel environment.
Crucially, you will need to come and meet her….with all members of your household a number of times. You will also need to learn her language….so use the same commands and phrases we have taught her. We will also need to see you build some trust and a bond with her, before the adoption can be completed.
What we don’t want to do is set this gorgeous girl up to fail. So, if you’re committed we will spend as much time as it takes with you and her, to ensure a successful adoption.
A full home check will be needed and it goes without saying that you must have the time, means and necessary experience to ensure Noa is happy and content and has a home for life!
Thank you for reading and please do get in touch if you’d like to come and meet this amazing girl❤️🐾
