Jack Russell Terrier 🐾
This is truly a difficult post to write, but due to ongoing issues with my eldest dog, I’m having to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome our 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier (JRT). We've had her for just over a year and she’s become such a big part of our home — which makes this even harder.
She’s absolutely adorable, full of energy, and amazing with kids, but sadly, she and our older dog just don’t get along, and it’s creating too much tension for everyone. She would do best as the only dog in the household, where she can soak up all the attention and love she deserves.
A few important things to know:
Great with cats 🐱
Very friendly, but can be overexcited around other dogs (pulls on the lead, needs ongoing training)
Best suited to an adult-only home due to her energy and current training needs
Fully housetrained and sleeps through the night
Loves cuddles and being close to her people
This is not a decision I’ve taken lightly — I just want the best environment for her to thrive in. She really is a sweetheart who just needs the right setup to be her best self.
