We have for sale our beautiful Bertie, 7 month old fox red Labrador.
This is such a difficult part for us. Here’s a little bit about Bertie’s story so far.
We are the breeders of Bertie. The first of a litter of boys bought into this world.
Bertie found a lovely family who he went off to live with at 8 weeks old. Unfortunately he has been returned due to no fault of his own, but a very unfortunate circumstance for his current family.
He has been completely filled with so much love by his first family and he is such a lovely boy to show for that.
Bertie now needs to find his new family. He is your typical 7 month old Labrador puppy and FULL of energy and enthusiasm for adventure. He is from working linage, so has that extra spark of energy to him. But so eager to learn.
He knows basic commands, this will need to be continued as it would with any puppy of his age.
We have seen that with confidence from you, he picks up new training commands super quickly and is eager to learn. He would excel in the working gun dog world. Both mum and dad have top class linage, with many championships in both.
He does get a huge amount of confidence from his mum (our dog Daisy) and we feel that Bertie will be much happier being homed to a family with an older dog that can show him the ropes and the right things to do.
Bertie won’t be able to be left at home alone, as he has been fortunate enough not to have had to do that much. We have been able to leave him for short periods, with his mum and he has been comfortable.
If you are a family that love the outdoors and adventures, and feel that you can give Bertie the best home, then please contact us.
We are going to be accepting enquires, but choosing very carefully for Bertie as this has to be right for him.
We are in contact with all of his brothers, and would love for him to stay in contact with the group of us. I would also love to still see him when we go for group walks with his brothers.
