It is with heavy hearts that we are looking to rehome our beautiful 2-year-old female Beagle x Terrier due to her not being suitable around our baby. This is absolutely no fault of her own – she is simply too excitable and bouncy around small children.
She is an incredibly friendly, loving, and intelligent dog with a playful personality and a huge zest for life. She absolutely adores older children and would thrive in a home with active older kids who enjoy playing, walking, and spending time outdoors.
She has been brought up in a home with cats and is fine with cats she knows indoors, however she does not do well with unfamiliar cats outside. She loves long walks, playing in the garden, and learning new tricks – she is very clever and eager to please.
The ideal home for her would be:
• An active individual or couple
• Or a family with older children only
• Someone who enjoys regular walks, playtime, and mental stimulation
A home with a private and secure garden
She has no aggression at all and does not have a bad bone in her body – she is simply very energetic and enthusiastic, which makes her unsuitable for homes with babies or toddlers.
This decision has not been made lightly and we are truly heartbroken, but our priority is finding her a loving, committed home where she can live her best life and get all the attention and activity she deserves.
