Description

We have just one girl, whose Kennel Club name is Celticmoon Shadow Dancer, still looking for her new home from this exceptional litter of whippets, which will be ideal for the showring or the sofa. The dam of the litter, Rye (Chippwhipp One of a Kind for Celticmoon) has an incredible 35 British and International Show Champions in her pedigree, and the sire, Angus (Sail on Sailor to Penwincoed is a very successful show dog at Championship level. The photos above show Rye relaxing, fawn Angus in the showring, and two whippets from her first litter which are the adult brindles. The male from her previous litter is Crufts qualified and has matured at 50cm and the female has matured at 45cm, which is within the KC breed standard but smaller than many of the bigger whippets bred today. We would love to see this litter settled in loving family homes or show homes. We only ever breed pedigree whippets that will adhere to the Kennel Club Breed Standard, and we always breed for lovely temperaments, robust good health and excellent conformation. OUR PUPPIES are raised in our home - we don't have kennels - and are brought up as part of our large family of adult dogs, together with our cats, donkeys and hens. We use a proven programme of socialisation which ensures our puppies mature into well balanced and happy adults. The dam of the litter is fully DNA health tested and the sire is heart tested. Both parents are family hounds with lovely happy, calm and affectionate temperaments. We are using a relatively new vaccine, Versican Plus, which enables us to let our puppies go to their new homes fully covered at the age of nine weeks, with no period of isolation and no further puppy vaccinations required. This is very important for the puppies as they can continue their socialisation education from the moment they go to their new family, and are able to go out and about meeting other dogs from day one. They will be microchipped and the details put into the new owner's name before collection. They will undergo two thorough vet checks including teeth, eyes, ears, heart etc before leaving us. Our puppies are recall trained by us, meaning they have been taught to come to you when called. They will be taught bite inhibition, will understand the commands 'no' and 'leave it' and will have a fundamental understanding of housetraining. They will also understand dog body language as they will be brought up in amongst our pack from an early age. OUR NEW OWNERS GET their puppy's five generation Kennel Club pedigree, copies of dam's health DNA health certificate, five weeks' insurance, microchip in the new owner's name and their inoculation certificate. As soon as a puppy is reserved and the deposit paid, I start sending out my puppy pack to the new owner which includes a shopping list, how to puppy proof your home, training and socialisation, diet etc so that new owners feel totally confident before they collect their puppy. Our puppies leave us with their own collar and lead, enough premium puppy food for the first couple of weeks, toys, a blanket that smells of all of their current family and a bottle of our own well water to aid their transition. Our pups are sold with a contract of sale which incorporates a 28 day health and temperament money back guarantee and we will always take a dog back at any time should circumstances ever change. We offer lifetime support and love getting updates on how our puppies are doing.
