Beautiful Hugo is not one of our puppies however he has been in our care for the past year whilst we have funded corrective surgery for him.
Hugo had lots of heavy skin folds on his face causing pressure on his eyes and in turn Enteropian (turned in eyelashes) leading to blindness in one eye.
BUT following the 6k life changing ‘facelift’ surgery we have been so lucky to be able to provide for this young man he now has the new lease of life that he so deserves !!!
Hugo is enjoys lots of love, cuddles and affection and is very friendly. We feel Hugo would be best suited to a home that has older children or no children because of his reduced vision and shyness around his head following his surgery which could make him feel anxious in a given situation.
Hugo can be an ‘itchy’ dog occasionally and can require basic antihistamine.
Hugo is an intact male.
Hugo is fully KC registered.
Hugo has been signed off by the vets confirming his facelift was an absolute success and no more surgery would be required !
Hugo is very friendly around our animals and dogs because he knew them well before he lost his sight but because of his limited vision he will thrive in an only dog home.
We are looking for a forever home for this beautiful boy …. The life he deserves more than ever now that he is discomfort free and can enjoy being himself !
