Loving Home Wanted for Our Beautiful Cocker Spaniel
📍 The Cotswolds – Local Rehoming Preferred but not essential
This is a truly heartbreaking decision, but we are looking for a new forever home for our gorgeous 4-year-old show-type cocker spaniel. She’s a loving, playful girl who adores cuddles on the sofa and long walks through fields. She’s full of affection and deserves a home where she can enjoy all the love and attention she’s used to.
Sadly, our 5-year-old daughter has developed an allergy to Daisy. We’ve tried everything we can to manage it, but her reactions have gradually worsened, and it’s become clear that we need to make the kindest decision for both Daisy and our daughter’s health and create a safe and manageable home environment.
Daisy has had one litter with us — a singleton pregnancy — and gave birth in April. Her puppy is now 8 weeks old and also due to go to a new home shortly. While we originally planned to keep Daisy and try and manage allergy symptoms, it now makes emotional and practical sense for both mum and pup to move on around the same time and begin their next chapters with families who can give them the time, space, and love they deserve. Due to the allergies we have had to stop daisy coming into our lounge and onto soft furnishings, and it just doesn’t seem fair.
We want Daisy to go to a home where she will be truly cherished — somewhere she can curl up on the sofa, enjoy daily walks, and be part of the family. She walks beautifully on a lead, her recall is fantastic, loves being outdoors, and is a loyal, gentle companion. She’s great at the groomers. We regularly take daisy out to pubs for dinner with us, she is well behaved and always praised for how good she is. We would love for mum and pup to be kept together but we understand that this would be a big ask.
Daisy will be spayed before going to her new home, which will be arranged and fully covered by us. We are asking for a rehoming fee to ensure she goes to a loving, committed home with the right intentions.
💌 Ideally, we’d love her to go to someone local so we can stay in touch, although her happiness is our top priority.
If you feel you could offer her the life she deserves, please get in touch with a little bit about you and the kind of home you can provide.
Thank you for understanding 🐾
