Description
Her story:
Mila is one of four puppies born to our brave rescue mum Misha – but their start in life was anything but safe.
Misha gave birth inside the public shelter/kill station, a place no mother or puppy should ever experience. It was cold, noisy and overcrowded – a dangerous environment for such fragile little lives.
Thankfully, they were rescued in time and brought to safety, where Mila has grown up surrounded by care and kindness.
Mila is now +/- 6 months old – a delicate little girl full of promise, still discovering the world at her own gentle pace.
📏 Expected size: medium (current height can be measured on request)
🏷 Type: based on appearance, Mila could be a mix of herding genes from her mum and some whippet-like influence from her dad, giving her a fine, elegant build and soft, expressive eyes.
Looks & charm:
Mila has a silky, sandy-beige coat and beautifully gentle features. She’s a little smaller and finer than her brothers – graceful, feminine, and always observing with quiet curiosity. Her eyes tell a story of innocence and hope, the kind that instantly melts hearts.
Character:
Mila is a tender, affectionate puppy who approaches life with sweetness and care. She’s a little reserved at first – the kind of pup who prefers to watch before jumping in – but her tail soon starts wagging once she feels safe. She enjoys gentle play, cuddles, and peaceful company, and she blossoms beautifully when treated with warmth and patience.
Her energy is balanced: she loves to explore and play with her siblings but also settles easily for quiet moments of rest. Mila will thrive with calm, loving people who understand that trust grows in small, steady steps.
Important note for puppy adopters
Puppies like Mila need time, guidance and daily involvement. She’s still at that curious, learning age where everything is new – and every experience matters.
Her adopters should be ready for the normal puppy stages (including her teenage phase) and offer consistency, positive training and lots of love.
Another gentle, confident dog in the home could be a wonderful role model for her, but this is not essential if her humans have enough time and warmth to guide her themselves.
Ideal home:
Mila would do best in a calm, caring environment where she feels included in daily life. A secure, dog-proof garden where she can safely play and explore would be ideal. What she needs most, however, is gentle guidance, patience, and a soft place to land.
🐾 For anyone considering a duo adoption: Mila’s brothers Morgan and Marley, and her sister Maxie, are also available for adoption.
For approved duo adoptions, a reduced combined adoption contribution applies (calculated individually upon interest).
✨ Mila is a tender little soul – gentle, graceful, and full of quiet love. Give her time, and she’ll return your kindness with endless devotion.
📩 If you’re touched by Mila’s story and think you could be the one for her, please get in touch.
She’s waiting patiently, dreaming of a home where she’ll finally belong.
CONTACT:
Friends InDeed is a registered charity organization. A home check (sometimes even online) is required before every adoption. We do not place our dogs with people who do not genuinely love dogs — too many lives depend on us, and we simply cannot be too careful!
To adopt one of our dogs, you must have your own private garden and no children under the age of 10. We do not provide working dogs, therapy dogs, or assistance dogs — no matter how noble or well-intentioned the purpose may be.
If you adopt MILA, she will live with you as a beloved family companion, cared for and cherished as she truly deserves. You also agree to stay in touch with us so we can support you with any questions or challenges that may arise.
We prefer to communicate via phone or WhatsApp, as we both work during the day and have limited access to email. It’s also much easier — we can exchange all the necessary information at once. If you like, we can schedule a video call so you can see MILA live before meeting her in person.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent rescue, fully dedicated to saving lives. We are actively involved in the spaying and neutering of stray dogs and in finding them loving forever homes. We reserve the right to ask for a different adoption fee or donation for our shelter dogs, depending on individual circumstances. In most cases, our costs are not fully covered.
We stay in touch with all our adopters — now more than 500 families — and can provide excellent references upon request.
⚠️ Please note: we receive many irrelevant messages and calls. We kindly ask — no time-wasters, please!
Thank you sincerely for your understanding and compassion.
Warm regards,
Adrian & Maria
