Description
Tuco has been our loved pet since September 2025. Major changes to circumstances and life demands is the reason we're reluctantly finding a new suitable and loving home for Tuco.
I originally sourced Tuco from a friend of mine in Hartlepool (he is the breeder) and still keeps mother and two of Tuco's siblings, all dogs working in security.
Tuco is extremely healthy and energetic Malinois. I last weighed him over a month ago and he was over 35 kgs! At his age this is impressive especially that he's not overweight. He sleeps 8 hours in a crate and rarely crys. He never chewed any furniture. Toilet trained although if we are not looking he'd would try and wee in a specific area on the landing (he's not allowed upstairs) a trainer said he does not think it's part of where he lives!
He's able to open all ordinary door handles, pushing and pulling doors, so we fitted latches on internal doors to prevent that.
Tuco is extremely dominant yet friendly dog. I saw him in situations how he switches from being a friendly puppy into a guard dog. One example, wife approached at night by a man while walking Tuco, and he became so aggressive towards this man who had to walk on swiftly. I had an instance of road rage from another driver complaining about my driving at traffic lights, Tuco leaps from back seat to front growling and barking at that person. We run two businesses from home and he's always been friendly to visitors. He isn't phased by aggressiveness from any other dog and will retaliate aggression.
I took him once to local dog daycare and they said he was too intense and curious but never aggressive. His curiosity intimidated smaller dogs and they suggested more socialising with dogs before bringing him back.
Tuco is for someone who can see longterm potential in training this intelligent, handsome, healthy, fit and strong Malinois.
You need time and patience.
We've done a great deal of hard work so far and you'll reap lots of benefits but also you are expected to put some effort into making your relationship with Tuco a long term success.
We're in no rush to rehome Tuco, and would rather get it right for him.
I paid 1200 pounds for him and he's worth every penny and more. I am asking only for 800 with so many free items we're including in sale.
More than one visit is welcome and encouraged before making a commitment.
