This is Nova, a well loved and well looked after shepherd. She is still young, and is eager to learn. She knows all the basic commands. She is strong on the lead and can be reactive, but off lead she is fine. She lives with my older lazier dogs, but unsure how she would be with other dogs so would need to be the only dog or slowly introduced to another dog. Nova is full of energy, and this is where the problem is, I can’t fulfil her needs, she’s needs a lot more exercise than what I can give her, she’s needs someone who is at home majority of the day, she’s loves people once she knows you, and lives with children. It would be better to have older children. She has separation anxiety and doesn’t like to be left. I’ve been working on this with her but I just don’t have the time she needs. She would benefit from an active family/ farm based or someone who has the 1on1 time for her to excel. She’s very loving and loyal. But definitely needs a job to do. Will have to be someone who is understanding of the breed.
