Description

Paddington was found as a stray in the Hayes area. He wasn't microchipped & was unneutered. Understandably he was quite scared at first but has settled really well in his foster home and is a very handsome & affectionate boy. Sadly Paddington's blood tests have shown that he's positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is transmitted by fighting/mating between cats and is fairly common amongst unneutered strays. FIV is not something that humans or other animals can be infected with. FIV is a lifelong condition & means that Paddington can't live with other cats or have free outdoor access. FIV positive cats generally have a similar life expectancy to cats without the condition although they can be more susceptible to illnesses. Insurance exclusions would likely apply so potential adopters should bear this in mind. Paddington is shy at first but once he warms up he's an adorable boy who loves to curl up at your feet. He's pretty chilled out and enjoys a brush and a fuss! He'll make a lovely addition for someone looking for an indoor cat. Paddington is in foster in Hayes. Rehoming criteria: - Some experience with cats - Can live with children 13 years and over - Cannot live with other cats - Not tested with dogs - Indoor only (access to a catio or enclosed garden would be ideal but not essential) - Can be left a working day The minimum adoption fee is £185 which includes: - Neutering - Microchip (there is a small fee to register/ transfer ownership) - At least the first vaccination - Up to date flea and worming - A Pet Remedy new home kit - 5 weeks free insurance with Agria - A blanket for a familiar smell - Ongoing advice and support Adoption application form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf5QO8DSc3llkFhoBM-J-SAU3-zkubZJECudGmS3B9AzSAtGQ/viewform?fbclid=IwY2xjawIgGqxleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHff6YyRXxkRh_dxFPRHa8ZFsxnlbbSC627bjz0zmyypw3p385enXHJmZOw_aem_si8hUjKDv9eIdYTkcPGWYw If the above link doesn't work, please copy and paste into your browser.
