This is the most heartbreaking decision I have ever had to make. I have having to rehome my beautiful boy Oscar due to ill health. I am unable to meet Oscar’s exercising needs. He is such a loving boy, he is very excitable and over friendly. He is strong on the lead so we use a haltie. He is fine off the lead unless he sees other dogs and runs over to say hello then his recall goes out the window so needs some time spent on listening and recall. He lives our cat and gets on well with him but other cats he will chase if they run as he just wants to play with them. He is great with kids, our youngest is 3 and our eldest is 9. He does jump up to say hello but with a firm “down” he will get down. He loves laying about on the sofa and loves cuddles. Oscar is crate trained and this is his safe space he retreats to if the kids get to much for him. He is quite an anxious boy and can’t be left alone for more than a couple hours as he will start to cry/howl.
Oscar is fully vaccinated with a health record book, he’s been castrated, he’s also microchipped. Oscar is on a pet health plan so has a health check every 3 months, he’s flead and wormed regularly. Home is far more important than price but he is priced to ensure he gets his new owner is fully committed. Please message me if you have any questions.
