Rocco is my mums dog, he’s a year old and we rescued him. He is a lovely dog but he has nipped 2 neighbours (there was no warning/signs of aggression) and did not break the skin but for obvious reasons as it has happened more than once the neighbours want him gone.
He is such a lovely boy and has so much potential to be an amazing companion and we are very sad to see him go but due to the incidents, rescues will not take him. He needs to be in a home with a large garden, regular walks, training and a strong individual who can handle his breed, no young children although he adores children and has been around them a lot, we are not willing to take the risk. He can sit, give paws, “guard” (goes around your legs and lays between them), wait for food and only go on command. Serious enquires only and home checks will be needed before considering protection people.
He will sometimes bark/cry when left but he does copy my mum’s other dog. He’s okay with cats but again we’d advise no cats just incase. He is ok with other dogs in the home but will sometimes bark at people/dogs on walks.
