Description

One female Jack Russell Terrier puppy available from a litter of 4, born on 22 May. The pup will be ready to leave from 18 July. The pup will be raised in our busy family home around children and other dogs. She will be well socialised and looked after to the highest standards. The pup was dewormed at 14 days old (with Panacur 3 day course) and will be regularly dewormed and microchipped prior to leaving for her new home. The pups have not yet started on hard food however they will be fed quality nutrition and will leave with a scent blanket. This is the second (and final) litter from our bitch. This litter is 4th generation of the same line that my family have kept. They have been selected for temperament and conformation. This line is bred with care, selecting a type with longer, straight limbs. They are not tiny Jacks with Queen Anne style turned out front legs. We are not dog breeders, we are a family with a love for a particular type of JRT’s and occasionally breed to keep the line going. This line of Jack Russell’s started with a 13inch to the shoulder, straight leg broken coated tri colour bitch (Great Granny). She was a farm dog, a fantastic worker, extremely loyal, clever and trainable. We lost her at 15 years old after breeding two litters from her. From this bitch we kept the pick of her first litter. A smooth coated, tri colour Dog, 14 inch to the shoulder, with a high work ethic, never ending determination and drive (Grandpa). He was, without a doubt, the best stamp of JRT that I have ever seen and his looks and character were regularly commented upon. We looked for a very long time for a suitable mate and eventually found one where we kept the pick of the first litter he sired - A beautiful red/brown and white bitch and the mother of puppy that is available for sale in this advert. She measures 12 inch to the shoulder with a very smooth coat. She is not a working terrier. She is our family pet and is doted upon by my family. She loves to accompany me on my daily run, follows the family on bike rides or hill climbs or hangs out with our ponies eating their carrots!. She loves snuggling under a blanket with the family or staring at the oven when the Sunday roast is cooking. She is fabulous with children. This is her second and final litter. The sire of this pup is a black and white JRT that lives on a sheep farm. He is not specifically used for working but likes to help his collie friends herding sheep! He is a beautiful JRT, with a nice broad head and ears. He is 13inch to the shoulder and has a wonderful nature. If you have any queries, please get in touch. Viewings welcomed. £200 deposit to secure pup.
