Description
Bertie is a tiny (3 kilos), 1 year old, castrated, microchipped, vaccinated, toilet trained, Pomeranian/Shitzu. He is such a happy little soul, full of character, very responsive and affectionate with both me and his friends, but not needy. Although he is fast, he is not demanding or hyperactive, but actually very good at amusing himself with a toy, stick or buffalo horn, or simply just relaxing. He came into rescue a couple of months ago with his surrogate mum (13 year old chihuahua) when their owner with severe learning difficulties no longer wanted them. He had an awful start in life so knew nothing of the outside world and was very reliant on Betty. He has since embraced his wonderful new life and now he has new young friends to play with, he spends little time with Betty and most of his time in the garden with the youngsters. He loves his country walks, playing with all his friends and he is always keen for cuddles. He is looking for a quiet, rural home with people around most of the time and with another good natured young dog to play with. He would like a good sized garden and an active family who will take him out for long walks and plenty of outings. He may be small, but he is very capable and hardy. I don't rehome tiny dogs to families with young children. If interested in Bertie, please send me your email address so I can send you my enquiry form to complete. I am undecided if he would benefit from continuing to have Betty in his life, so fostering or adopting her is further conversation which could be had, should his new parents wish.
