I have 2 beautiful girls who are looking for a new loving home through absolutely no fault of their own. These are a bonded pair and I won't be letting them go separately. I'm looking for the right home for them, as opposed to rehoming quickly. I adopted these girls at the start of the year but unfortunately my child is not settling with them and it would be fairer on everyone to let them go to a more appropriate home. They have been indoor cats so far, they're around about 16/18 months old (we don't know precisely), and they have been enjoying supervised outdoor access. They can likely be let out if you choose that as long as you're away from a road as they may not be very savvy. One of them will come back for treats very quickly, the other not so much and would likely be more adventurous. One of the cats is fairly tolerable to my child (9) picking them up and generally being in her face a lot and being very boisterous, but the other is more scared and tends to run away a lot as she prefers things calmer. They are both incredibly affectionate cats and really do love a lot of fuss and to snuggle up. Sometimes they can be quite pushy to get fusses and attention. They are also quite cheeky and do need lots of play time. They love food so I have been keeping them out of the kitchen as a couple of times they have got into things, even in packets. They would make lovely family pets for the right family, but unfortunately that is not us. I wouldn't recommend them as companions for older people, unless they are still fairly active and able to give them lots of play and running time as they're still very young and lively. The girls would ideally benefit from someone who is home regularly as they can struggle with being left alone for long periods in one day or regularly over the week. They are currently fed 3 times a day and sleep in their own bedroom. They are fully litter trained. They are both registered with a vet and have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. They are up to date with regular worming and flea treatments. I'm happy to have them health checked before rehoming. They are currently on a pet plan and are insured. They are on high quality food which is stored in the freezer, ideally they would continue with this so you would need freezer space, or the ability to buy it regularly locally and store it in the fridge. They are a cherished part of our family and have been well looked after, so I'm looking for a similar home who are aware of the financial upkeep as well as time. I'm very happy to have a chat and have people ask questions to make sure they find the perfect fit and are not in this situation again. I'm very sad to be having to do this and I'm not taking this lightly, so please make sure you are able to commit before messaging. To reiterate, I will not be separating the girls and they need a home who is able to take both of them. Ideally no other pets, but they may get on with a calm dog. I've put a fairly high price up because they will come with lots of things, and I'm looking for a high quality home, however I am happy to talk about the right price for the right person.
