The most heartbreaking thing is seeing how happy she was at home and seeing her so sad now is just awful. She was returned due to a relationship breakdown and at no fault of her own.
This is Ava in the words of her last home:
Meet Ava, a 4 year old bundle of joy. She's an incredibly shy little one, who will take her time to warm up to you, but once she does she is a completely different dog.
Ava usually takes to women faster than men, but give her time, she is absolutely worth the wait.
Fair warning, she will try and steal your socks!
She loves playing tug of war, any kind of chasing game, and chewy toys (at least tearing them apart anyway)
She's an absolute cuddle fiend, and is especially good at being the little spoon. If that fails, a belly rub is an easy failsafe!
If she sees a squirrel, she will do all she can to go after it 😅
She can be wary of other dogs, but once she's met them a couple of times with play with them for hours if they let her.
Ava is spayed and would like to live as an only dog. No children or small furries for Ava.
Her adoption fee is £250 and she is currently based in South Wales.
Hopefully it will be 3rd time lucky for Ava and we can find her a FOREVER home very soon 💛
