This is a truly difficult post for us to make, but we’re sadly looking to rehome our beautiful 6-month-old miniature dachshund, Dottie. We believe our son may be allergic, and after trying everything we can, we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to find Dottie a home where she can continue to thrive and be loved.
💖 About Dottie
Dottie is a playful, cuddly, and incredibly affectionate little girl with a beautiful personality. She’s extremely loyal, loves human contact, and is always up for a cuddle. She can be a little barky when meeting new people, but once comfortable, she’s gentle, submissive, and full of love. She also enjoys a bit of rough play and has a great sense of fun.
🐶 Well Socialised & Great With Kids
She’s been raised around children and is brilliant with them. She’s very well socialised with other dogs and loves nothing more than a multi-dog walk. She has good recall (especially impressive for her age!) and is nearly off-lead trained, though still learning in high-distraction situations.

Dottie would suit a home with lots of love, attention, and the time to continue her training. She’d be perfect for an active household that enjoys cuddles and countryside walks alike. She could live happily with other dogs and would make a loyal, loving companion.
