All my cats live in my home with our dogs and are part of our family. My goal in breeding is to produce healthy, happy and well socialised kittens who are beautiful examples of their breed. To ensure this, our cats are extensively health tested, including annual heart scanning and the kittens are involved in all aspects of home living.
Socialisation is a very important factor for our kittens and something we take very seriously as breeders, as good socialisation will make for a smoother transition to the kittens new home. Desensitisation is another key factor in the upbringing of kittens, which is why we make sure by the time each kitten is ready for their new home they are well used to the sights and sounds of a busy household.
The kittens parents are from some of the best shows lines from across the world. They have numerous champions in their pedigree including European Regional winners and international champions. Both parents are tested clear for HCM, SMA & PK-Def, as well as FIV & FeLV.
Jimmy, their dad is a Junior Grand Champion 🏆 He is from a long line of champions, his dad is a TICA champion and was the Best Blue & White Maine Coon internationally for the 2022/2023 show season. There are 15 champions in his pedigree including European and international champions. His lines include traditional American Maine Coons as well as some of the oldest lines in the UK. He’s a truly special cat. Jimmy also has a temperament to die for, he’s a lap cat through and through who will seek anyone he can find for a cuddle. Jimmy was bred by us and is 3rd generation Kigikat, so we know his lines very well and have bene carefully breeding to ensure the best health, temperament and type of our kittens 🐾
Lily is the mum of the gorgeous litter. She again is from an impressive pedigree. Her dad is also a TICA Champion 🏆 but that shouldn’t overshadow her own achievements, at her first show at 4 months old, she was Best Long Hair kitten in Show and 2nd Best kitten in Show 🏆 Lily was bred here by us and is 4th generation Kigikat 😻 again we have been careful breeding this line down the generations for years now to prioritise health first and then temperament and type. Lily is not just a beautiful example of a Maine coon, she’s a real delight to have around and a real mummies girl 🥰 you couldn’t wish to meet a more lovely cat!
