It breaks my heart to even be writing this, but I feel little Flynn needs a new home where his needs can be better met. ❤️ Flynn is an absolute character and, 90% of the time, is the most chilled, loving and affectionate boy you could meet. He loves attention, playing, cuddles and being around his person, and he has such a funny personality. He has been an outdoor cat for the first two years of his life, but has been kept indoors since February. Since being indoors, he has become increasingly energetic and wants a lot of interaction and stimulation. Unfortunately, this has led to ongoing conflict with his little sister, who is much more chilled and doesn’t always want to play with him. Despite them being very bonded, I don’t feel their current situation is fair on either of them anymore. For this reason, I am looking for a loving, permanent home where Flynn can be the only pet, with someone who is around and able to give him lots of attention, affection and playtime. Ideally, I would love him to go to someone with a secure garden/appropriate outdoor space, as he has previously been an outdoor cat and I would eventually like him to have the option of going outside again once he is properly settled. Flynn was unfortunately taken away from his mum too young, which wasn’t my choice as I was given incorrect information at the time. Because of this, he does still suckle on a blanket as a comfort habit. He has a particular blanket that he loves and I will be sending this with him to help him settle into his new home. Flynn is microchipped and fully up to date with his flea and worming treatment through the vets, as well as his vaccinations. I have worked really hard to keep on top of his preventative healthcare, so it is very important to me that this continues in his new home. I will also provide his cat carrier and his comfort blanket, so he can take familiar things with him when he moves. Most importantly, I want him to go somewhere where he will be genuinely loved, cared for and treated as part of the family, with someone who has the time to give him the attention he is used to. This is an incredibly difficult decision because he is such a special boy and I absolutely adore him. I will be looking for the right home rather than simply the first person interested. ❤️
