Quite a character and will follow you around everywhere. He likes human company. He’s not fond of sitting on your lap, but will sit with you/next to you.
Loves playing with balls, fetching them. Loves spiders, he’s a great spider catcher.
He loves soft toys, we buy small dog toys that last a bit longer.
Likes a routine. He’s sometimes a little weary of unknown visitors until he’s had a good smell.
Would not recommend him with young children as he sometimes plays rough, or if he’s being ignored he’ll tap the back of your legs to gain attention. Never drawn blood on me, I just wouldn’t necessarily trust him with a small child. He’s rougher with my Husband than he is me.
His fur is beautiful and he is very clean.
Only eats dry food. Currently has royal canin dry food. He loves a small amount of cooked ham or chicken as a treat.
We use clumping cat litter.
He’s very good with using the litter tray and we’ve never had any issues with him using the tray.
I’ve just purchased another 10kg bag of Royal Canin, so will have plenty to send with him.
We are very sad to have to re-home Shelly. Unfortunately we are moving and also increasing hours of work, so we have to do what’s best for him.
