i am reluctantly having to re-home my beautiful cats due to a moving abroad and am unable to take them with me.
They are 'sisters' from different moms but are both around the same age (4 years) and have been together since kittens so they have a lovely bond and must be rehomed together , they are very well socialised and confident around people and children , love attention and company. They are absolutely amazing companion cats and such good company! They have been kept as indoor cats with me and been absolutely fine no desire to go outside however they have been outdoors in the past. They are very confident and easy going, and good around young children. I am not sure how they are with other cats and dogs but I am sure they will be fine if introduced properly. Cleo is a bit territorial around food so if a dog is protective of their food this might not be the best match. Cleo is the calico, she is the most confident + lap cat of the two and purrs none stop, loves to cuddle in bed in the mornings and will go straight into the lap of any stranger that walks into the house. Athena the black and white is more chilled out than Cleo but still loves her human company and tries to sit on my lap when I go to the toilet , she is a chatterbox at times as well😂. If I make a cup of tea and get back into bed in the mornings they both come back into bed with me for a cuddle and in the evenings they are always next to me on the sofa or on my lap.
They both follow me into the toilet and are never far away when I am in the house , so I guess they are quite dog like in nature. They are very settled in their routine, they love to play with eachother and with their toys but most of the time once fed they are happy chilling out and dozing off somewhere closeby. In the winter I catch them cuddling together all the time it's so cute 🥰 . They are fed a combo of wet and dry food they aren't fussy with food at all they love all brands of food. They are very good using their litter trays never had any problems with them not using their trays. I have 2 trays for them so they have option of more than one toilet and they use both. As I will be moving abroad all their beds, toys, litter trays etc. can be given to their new owners so nothing will necessarily need to be purchased for them apart from food! I am asking for a fee to adopt them just like you would get if adopting from a shelter just so I know the potential owners are serious but like I say all their items will be included in this.
They don't have any health issues and are vaccinated up to April 2026! Both neutered.
I am gutted to be rehoming them but I have exhausted all options to take them with me or leave them with a friend but things have fallen through and ultimately I have to put my feelings aside and do what is best for them!! I just want them to go to a loving home where they will thrive and be just as happy as they are now. I can work long hours when I am at the office and they are fine being left alone for long periods 12+hrs at a time but if they can go to a home where someone will be at home most of the time so they have company they would love that 🥰
