Meet Mabel, “Mabel was rescued in Romania with her sister Luna. She recently moved to her new home here in the UK with her sister in May 2025. They are both now looking for a home of their own”
Mabel met children whilst in Romania who she was very good with, she can growl at the two male children 11+ in her current home. She can live with Female Children 12+, she could also live with confident, dog savvy male children following slow and sensible introductions 👶
Mabel was very good with other dogs in Romania and has been good with her sister. She would need another confident, young dog in the home who will help build her confidence and show her the way. She would ideally need to be rehomed without her sister as they can hold each other back however, they can be considered together for an experienced home 🐾
Mabel has met cats when she was in Romania and was very good with them, she can therefore live with cats following sensible introductions 🐈
Mabel is currently too anxious to accept a harness, collar or lead however she has accepted this previously. She will therefore need a home with a secure and private garden to use until she has gained her confidence 🐕🦺
Mabel is not toilet trained and due to her anxieties is currently using puppy pads. She has nibbled a wooden blind in her current home but hasn't shown any major destructive behaviours. She hasn’t been left alone yet in the home however, with slow introductions this shouldn't be an issue 💞
