This is Manny, my sweet dachshund puppy. He’s full of love, curiosity, and that classic sausage-dog charm—but Manny has been diagnosed with haemophilia, a rare condition where his blood doesn’t clot properly. This means even small injuries can become serious, and he needs a calm environment, gentle handling, and close monitoring each day.
As much as it breaks my heart, I work a full-time 9-to-5 job and can’t give Manny the careful, consistent attention and supervision he truly needs. His condition isn’t painful, but it does mean he requires someone who can be extra cautious, present, and ideally experienced with special-needs pets or willing to learn.
If you or someone you know can offer Manny the safe, loving home he deserves—or if you have advice or resources that could help—I would be deeply grateful.
