We are looking to rehome our sweet cat Smudge, who is approximately 5 years old. Smudge is a male cat who we rescued in February 2020 from cats protection. He was estimated to be 18 months old at the time, although we think he was younger as he was a lot smaller than he is now. We think he is no older than 5 now.
Smudge is an affectionate, loving cat who loves human company. He will curl up beside us wherever we are. He’s not keen on dogs, but likes children and anyone who wants to stroke and fuss him.
He is neutered and vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatments. He is also microchipped.
Unfortunately we have no choice but to find him a new home due to allergy. The GP recommended rehoming 3 years ago as he affects our son’s sinuses, and our brother in law cannot visit or stay over due to a severe cat allergy. We’ve persevered as we love him but the time has come to find him his forever loving home.
Please only contact us if you love cats and think you can provide smudge with the loving home he deserves. Like all cats, he is not keen on change so would need time to adjust to his new environment!
Smudge uses a cat flap to go outside and does enjoy sunbathing! He’s not so keen on rain or cold so will spend most of his time indoors in the winter. He is litter trained but mostly goes outside when he needs the toilet.
If you are serious about giving smudge a home, we can send him with his hooded litter tray and a months worth of food. A cat carrier is also available should you require it.
