We are having to rehome Harry, our 18 year old Hand Reared Congo African Grey. Harry is actually a female, something we found out after we had named him/her when we had a DNA test done.
Harry was born on 1st November 2006 and joined our family in February 2007 but unfortunately due to a change in circumstances we need to find a loving new home after 18 wonderful years.
We are looking for someone that has previous experience with parrots and will only let him go to someone that we feel comfortable with. The most important thing is that he goes to an amazing new home.
Harry is a little cautious of new people at first like most parrots but once he knows you he’s extremely cuddly and friendly.
He has a great vocabulary, chuntering away saying lots of words.
We have all relevant paperwork including the hatch certificate, DNA test result and A10 CITES certificate.
