DescriptionHow do you put a price on something priceless? I won’t respond to one line replies. Unless you can say a bit aboot who you are and what kind of home you’ll offer you please don’t waste our time.
I’m looking for a home with land and wide open vistas - I’m not looking to put him in an urban environment with a walled garden - I can offer him that now.
It’s been my honour to love & care for Bronze for four years. And I’m aware his life is shorter than ours and to spend it cooped up in a London flat isn’t ideal. He needs to be on the land.
He is 53KG, so small for his breed & very gentle - he loves all humans, and most other animals, with the exception of unuttered male dogs, he will act out to intimidate those.
Bronze is chemically castrated and I’m not sure that makes much difference. Because of his small size and sweet temperament I consider he has something meaningful to contribute to the gene pool, so far he has not yet been bred from. I’ve been loath to cut off his balls and my hope is you will be too, however I will defer to the judgment of his new keepers as long as they are giving him the life he deserves.
His exercise needs are not excessive and even so, I find them difficult to meet because I have a dislocated ankle. He eats only human grade meat. I usually roast a chicken each evening and give it to him “as is”, less some of the breast which I reserve for my cats. The chicken is alternated with wth liver, organ meat, ground beef or lamb.
Bronze is a travelling dog, there is nothing he likes more than a car, a train or a boat. My concerns are that he should have a lot of space and a lot of love/attention/activities/enrichment and care.
Other considerations, distance, for instance, are secondary. Of course I will wish to keep in touch.
