Uhtred is a stunning show-type Cocker Spaniel who was imported as a puppy from the very well-known Serci Kennels. He’s a lovely example of the breed — beautifully put together, full of character, and has the most amazing temperament you could ever wish for. He’s fully health tested through Pet Genetics, and all paperwork is here to be seen.
I originally bought Uhtred a couple of months ago to use as a stud dog, and he certainly knows his job. He has produced litters in the past and there’s one potential litter currently on the way. However, his sperm count can be a little inconsistent — some weeks it’s high, and other weeks it’s low. He’s been checked and has no infection or obvious cause, but because of this inconsistency, when given fertility supplements his sperm count dose increase but that been said I feel he would be much better suited as a loving pet rather than being relied upon as a working stud.
Putting the stud side aside, Uhtred is an absolute joy to have around. He’s fully house-trained, excellent in the home, and has a temperament to die for — gentle, affectionate, and brilliant with children as well as other dogs. He loves attention, enjoys being part of the family, and just wants to please. He is fully house trained , crate trained , he is ok off lead once he gets to know you
He truly deserves a home where he’ll be loved and appreciated for the wonderful boy he is. Although he could still be used occasionally at stud if someone wanted to try, I’d much prefer him to go to a pet home where he can enjoy a relaxed, happy life as a companion.
He’ll leave with all his health test paperwork and details of his routine, food, and anything else that will help him settle in smoothly.
