Kya is a thoroughbred long hair German Shephard. She is 9 years old and in excellent health. She is incredibly loyal and a dog we have always labelled "head of security" as she really keeps guard of the house. She loves cuddles and pets, and is always happiest when around people. Although we have a cat that is definitely the boss of Kya, we wouldn't recommend her going to a household with other animals or with small children (under 10). We are happy to keep her until an appropriate new family is found and if it helps will pay vet bills for the first 12 months if she would need to be seen for any health matters.
She has to wear a muzzle when out walking mostly because of other dogs and if a person charges over to her she can be protective. It's important to know the GSD bread and then you will know their temperament.
She loves beach walks and can be left home alone with no anxiety.
Reason for rehoming is our move abroad this autumn. She’s in Barry living. She’s neutered
