Hiya, Here I have for sale a beautiful litter of 5 dachshund puppies these where born on the 8th may. Where mum Daphne Black and Tan has self whelped them with no problem at all. Dad Stanley dapple is also our family pets. Pups have been handled since they was born and have been around children and other dogs so have been well socialised as when they come out the pen play with them. Pups have been wormed every 2 weeks since they was born and have been micro chipped. They have been fed on Harrington puppy food. These are ready to leave now. Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
