Selling this beautiful pair of cockatiels. The male is 2 years old and he’s ’friendly tame’. By that I mean that he doesn’t ‘step up’ but will actively want to fly to and land on you and then either sit on you while you go about your business or demand ‘scritches’ and kisses, other times he won’t tolerate hands at all! His girlfriend is a stunning bright coloured lady who was born this year. When they met it was love at first sight for both so there’s absolutely no chance I’d separating these two lovers!
The male was a cage bird before whose needs were neglected by not being allowed enough time out and spending too much time with no company at all. So I would prefer them to go to an aviary home or somewhere where they can be out of a cage pretty much the whole day. Please note the hen is not tame!
They very much enjoy some greens (spinach is a favourite!) and fruit, millet sprays and get a top quality seed mix daily. They have been preventatively treated for mites and worms. They can come with a new nest box free of charge but they should not be allowed to breed until May next year at the earliest. Collection is from Exmouth EX8 4QL. Please bring a suitable travel cage to take them home in, NOT a cardboard box! I can sell a travel cage for an additional £5 if needed.
