Description

Inca, my lovely F1 red cockapoo has given birth on the September to a litter of 9 gorgeous F1b red cockapoos. F1b means that these puppies are one quarter Show Cocker Spaniel and three quarter Poodle. As you can see from the photos of Inca, she really is an adventurous dog. Inca has been well socialised and is central to my day to day life. She is brilliant with my children, adults, adapting to different social settings and has a lovely temperament with other dogs. I have had her since she was 8 weeks old. Inca has been easy to train and has fitted in well to my daily routine. I would highly recommend reading the ‘Cockapoo Handbook, 2nd Edition’ by Linda Whitlam to guide you on your journey raising a Cockapoo! Inca has been extensively health tested with the following clear DNA tests: Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA-PRCD) Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA-rcd4) Von Willebrand Disease 1 (VWD1) Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) Neonatal encephalopathy with seizures (NEWS) Gangliosidosis GM2 Osteochondrodysplasia (OCD) Incas mother is a red KC registered Show Type Cocker Spaniel and her father is a red KC Registered Standard Poodle. Inca stands at 15 inches to the shoulder. Before choosing Inca, I carefully researched the difference between a Show Type and Working Cocker Spaniel. Show Type Cocker Spaniels were bred for companionship and showing. They generally have a calmer disposition than the working type cocker spaniel. This has definitely reflected in Incas personality. She is a calm and pleasant house dog who enjoys cuddles and lazy days around the house; yet she thrives on regular exercise and outdoor adventures. Alffi (father) is a stunning deep red KC Registered miniature poodle. He stands at 12 inches to the shoulder and has been extensively health tested with the following clear DNA tests: Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA-PRCD) Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA-rcd4) Von Willebrand Disease 1 (VWD1) Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) Neonatal encephalopathy with seizures (NEWS) Gangliosidosis GM2 Osteochondrodysplasia (OCD) These extensive health tests completed by ‘Pet Genetic Lab- Isle of Man’ on Inca and Alffi mean that the puppies will be clear of the above hereditary diseases. I did a lot of research when trying to find the perfect poodle for Inca. When I visited Alffi; his approachable and caring nature shone through and I observed the love his owners and their children had for him. His owners describe him as a very happy, loving, intelligent dog that loves attention and cuddles. Inca and Alffi’s similar red coats will mean that the puppies will be of similar colour. Inca has been wormed on a daily basis from 40 days of pregnancy up until 2 days after whelping; using liquid Panacur. The puppies will be ready to leave Inca at 8 weeks of age, October onwards. They will be wormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks old with liquid Panacur. They will have a vet check at 6 weeks old. During the vet check they will receive their first vaccination, flee treatment and will be microchipped. They will need their second vaccination when they are between 10-12 weeks of age. They will leave with an extensive puppy pack to include: ⭐️ Vaccination card which will include details about their first vaccination for your vet to follow. ⭐️ Microchipped - card and details to transfer your own details will be provided. ⭐️ Scented blanket of Inca and siblings to help with the transition to their new home. ⭐️ A 2kg Beta Puppy Food and detail of feeding routine. ⭐️ Copy of Inca and Alffi’s DNA and health test. I am looking for 5* homes for these puppies- with the expectation that you have familiarised yourself with the Cockapoo breed and the commitment they require. I really want others to have the endless adventure and fun I’ve had and will continue to have with Inca. I would love to keep in touch by creating a WhatsApp or Facebook group with new owners and their puppies to share updates about how the puppies are progressing into adulthood. Thanks for taking the time to read all the information- I have tried to be as thorough as possible. I look forward to hearing from you either through email or phone to discuss your interest further and match you with your new perfect cockapoo. I will send you a quick questionnaire for you to fill out before we progress any further. I can assure you that my home is fitted with extensive CCTV and I work from home therefore will be available for Inca and puppies day/night. This will be the beginning of your new adventure with your new puppy!
