Description

IZAIGA Shiba Inu, co-ownership Breeding Programme, A unique opportunity for established and experienced breeders. We are looking for a small number of experienced, established, and verifiable dog breeders who would like to introduce Shiba Inu as a second or additional breed. This programme is not for beginners. It is intended for breeders who already have genuine practical experience. Selected high-quality Shiba Inu puppies will be offered at around 50% of their normal price as part of a formal, long-term co-ownership breeding agreement. The dog will live permanently with the co-owner as a loved family member and become part of their breeding programme. When mature, appropriately health tested, and confirmed suitable for breeding, the intention would be for a female to have up to four litters, always subject to her health and veterinary advice. The co-owner will have day-to-day responsibility for the dog and for raising any litters. IZAIGA will remain involved in decisions regarding bloodlines, pedigrees, health testing, genetic compatibility, and suitable breeding combinations. Our Shiba Inu come from carefully selected bloodlines with recent Japanese ancestry. These bloodlines are extremely important to us; we want to work with breeders who understand their value and will respect, preserve, and responsibly continue them for future generations. Future breeding combinations will be carefully considered with regard to pedigree, health testing, temperament, breed type, genetic diversity and coefficient of inbreeding. Where genetically and health-wise appropriate, suitable IZAIGA stud dogs may be available for future matings. This will be a genuine, documented co-ownership arrangement. Both parties will sign a detailed written agreement before the puppy leaves. Where appropriate, the breeding arrangement will also be documented with The Kennel Club through the relevant procedure for the loan/lease or use of a bitch for breeding purposes. Location is not a problem; we are happy to consider the right breeder anywhere in England. We will personally deliver the puppy to your home or kennel. We want to meet you properly, see where our dog will live and where future litters will be raised, and establish a genuine relationship from the start. We are not looking for someone to simply collect a puppy and disappear. This is intended to be a long-term, breeder-to-breeder partnership based on trust, transparency, and regular communication. We are looking for breeders who can demonstrate their experience, good standards of care, and a clear vision for adding Shiba Inu responsibly to their programme. If you are interested and feel this may be a good fit, please get in touch with details of your current breeding activities, your experience, and why you believe you would be the right partner.
