Description
This is our gorgeous Piper. She is 17 weeks old and a loving, gentle and playful girl. We are heartbroken that we have to rehome her as we adore her. However, Piper struggles with separation anxiety and we are not able to give her the very best she deserves. She is toilet trained outside (a few accidents - mostly our fault) she has started to tell us when she needs to go out by sitting at the door and whining. She is trained to respond to sit, spin, go wee wee and has almost got leave. She loves training sessions and is very eager. We are still working on ‘come’. She knows her name and does come when you call. She is sleeping through until 2/3am then back through until 5/6am.
Piper is great around kids and has lots of interaction with them of other ages, good with other dogs too. Piper loves a walk but does get overstimulated if it’s too long. She has been doing really well responding to ‘let’s go’ as she loves to sniff everything! She is good at taking herself off to her bed if she wants to sleep (only when we are in the house).
My family consists of myself and two teenage daughters, we planned for Piper for a long time before we actually got her. We didn’t foresee her struggling with being alone for more than 2 hours. She has been trained in separation since we got her. She was brought up with mum, dad and siblings.
What we would like for Piper; an older couple (retired) or a person that works from home. Piper is truly a wonderful girl and deserves the very best, we are unable to change our situation (my job, kids at school) which means Piper does need to be alone. This has been the hardest choice but we really want the best for Piper and for her to have the best life. Please understand that we will be picky, looking for the best fit for Piper.
Piper will come with everything; play pen, bed, blankets, toys, bowls, harness, lead, collar, snuggle mat, treat toys, treats, food. Microchip information and vet history (vaccinations).
