Description
WILLIAM IS IN THE CARE OF HEREFORD AND WORCESTER ANIMAL RESCUE Oh William, you are the most gorgeous boy and everyone who has met you falls for your wonderful charm. William is quite possibly the sweetest and funniest boy on the planet. He is very well-mannered and a real love. A complete gentleman. Sadly William has been stuck in kennels for a very long time with no-one interested in adopting him. We think this is sadly because of his damaged leg. William was another unclaimed stray. William arrived with a damaged leg, after investigation and x-rays you can clearly see a nasty break to his back leg. This boy has been so brave, he must have been in excruciating pain when this happened and obviously had no treatment at the time. Luckily, he has no pain to the area now as it has fused in this position, he is very used to skipping on it when he insists on doing zoomies at an impressive speed. It really doesn’t hold him back- he’s certainly no victim! William's leg has been thoroughly investigated by our vets and its been decided not to put William through the tricky surgery to potentially re- break/fix his leg, it has been recommended that instead of amputation we monitor William as he is, he does use his deformed leg as a prop and long term this is better for him than removing the leg which could cause more issues/pressure on the rest of his body. William would absolutely love a home where there’s someone around a lot as he really enjoys human companionship. Williams ideal home will be pet free, he has had no issues with other dogs but could become excitable if living in the same home as another dog and this could cause extra pressure on his leg. A fairly calm and quiet home with a good sized garden where William can potter/zoom about safely without necessarily needing to go for long daily walks would be perfect. William wouldn’t suit a very active home where we would be expected to walk miles everyday or climb mountains but he also doesn’t want to be cooped up all the time, he enjoys his freedom & investigating and will be such a wonderful companion. We are desperate for our special boy to find himself a loving home who can truly appreciate how amazing he is. DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE THOUSANDS DIE, SAVE A LIFE - ADOPT
