Description
Her story:
Grace – lovingly called Gracie – is one of those dogs whose presence speaks softly but deeply. She was rescued from a public shelter, one of the overcrowded kill stations where her life hung by a thread. Now safe in private care, she waits with quiet hope for the person who will finally see her for who she is – a gentle soul, ready to give her heart completely.
📅 Estimated Date of Birth: 20 July 2021
📏 Height: approx. 40 cm (can be measured on request)
⚖️ Weight: approx. 14 kg
🏷 Type: Lurcher type – likely Whippet × Shepherd mix
Looks & charm:
Grace’s soft, wiry coat shimmers in shades of beige, silver and cream. Her long legs, slender frame and kind, intelligent eyes give her that unmistakable Lurcher elegance – a perfect balance of grace and quiet strength. She moves with lightness and poise, yet her expression carries the gentleness of a dog who simply longs to belong.
Character:
Gracie is affectionate, calm and wonderfully social with both people and other dogs. She loves gentle attention and being part of daily life – walks, calm moments, and quiet companionship. Like many Lurcher types, she has a sensitive, intuitive nature and thrives when treated with kindness and consistency.
Her energy level is moderate: she enjoys her runs and walks but knows how to settle peacefully afterwards. Grace is smart and responsive, making her a joy to guide and a loyal friend once she trusts you.
Ideal home:
Grace would love a home where she can stretch her legs in a secure, dog-proof garden, and be included in family life – joining walks, cuddles and daily routines. She would do well either as an only dog or alongside another friendly canine companion.
She isn’t a dog who would enjoy spending long hours alone; she seeks gentle human connection and a sense of belonging. With patience, warmth and understanding, she will blossom into the most loving and graceful companion.
✨ Grace is exactly what her name promises – a gentle spirit full of elegance, loyalty and quiet love.

CONTACT:
Friends InDeed is a registered charity organization. A home check (sometimes even online) is required before every adoption. We do not place our dogs with people who do not genuinely love dogs — too many lives depend on us, and we simply cannot be too careful!
To adopt one of our dogs, you must have your own private garden and no children under the age of 10. We do not provide working dogs, therapy dogs, or assistance dogs — no matter how noble or well-intentioned the purpose may be.
If you adopt GRACE, she will live with you as a beloved family companion, cared for and cherished as she truly deserves. You also agree to stay in touch with us so we can support you with any questions or challenges that may arise.
We prefer to communicate via phone or WhatsApp, as we both work during the day and have limited access to email. It’s also much easier — we can exchange all the necessary information at once. If you like, we can schedule a video call so you can see GRACE live before meeting her in person.
CONTACT: We are a 100% genuine and transparent rescue, fully dedicated to saving lives. We are actively involved in the spaying and neutering of stray dogs and in finding them loving forever homes. We reserve the right to ask for a different adoption fee or donation for our shelter dogs, depending on individual circumstances. In most cases, our costs are not fully covered.
We stay in touch with all our adopters — now more than 500 families — and can provide excellent references upon request.
⚠️ Please note: we receive many irrelevant messages and calls. We kindly ask — no time-wasters, please!
Thank you sincerely for your understanding and compassion.
Warm regards,
Adrian & Maria
