Description
Sadly, due to an unexpected relationship split, Trigger needs to find a new forever home. He is 2 and a half years old, healthy, vaccinated, basic-obedience trained, and neutered.
Trigger has been raised within a family environment, with small children frequently visiting, and elderly relatives living on site too.
Trigger was diagnosed with inflamed bowel in May 2023 although this has been identified as being allergy-related and is completely managed on a hydrolysed/hypoallergenic diet. He can be fussy with his eating and may need encouragement from time to time, with that said, he’s a healthy weight (31kg) and the vets have no concerns about him.
Trigger was raised with another dog (his sister - she is a registered therapy dog), loves to play fetch and tug, but needs to be kept on a lead in public areas due to being unreliable with his recall. He is a happy, playful soul who loves a cuddle and can never have too much attention.
Trigger will make an amazingly loyal family pet and is only being rehomed because working commitments will mean a life on his own or in kennels all the time.
Trigger would best suit a person/family who work from home, are frequently available for lots of attention and hugs, and who are committed to continuing his training. Trigger can be left alone for up to 5 hours, he does not routinely bark or whimper when left, he is not destructive, and loves to watch the wildlife in the great outdoors.
Trigger comes with any remaining food, food bowl, lead/collar, halti, harness, dry robe, rain coat, bedding, and crate.
