HONEST advert, Gorgeous 11 month old sausage dog needs a new, loving forever home as soon as possible. Rolo is chocolate and tan boy who is the most placid, loyal and friendly dog with humans. He is brilliant with children and loves cuddles and fuss all day long! However he was an addition to our 3 year old sausage dog and they have never fully accepted one another. However lately things have got worse and has ended with a severe attack on our other dog which took over 5 minutes to break up and resulted in our 3 year old dog having nasty bites around the neck, being severely traumatised and needing out of hours veterinary care. He Is now very unsettled and unhappy and we are, on vets advice, trying to keep them separate at all times. We feel it’s only fair to our original dog to re home Rolo so that this never happen again. Rolo is a lovely friendly little chap, good with kids and hectic household. Used to cats. Loves to play and a walk although recall…what’s that?! He is used to boarding kennels. Looking for a home with experienced dog owners, no other dogs in the home, a garden is a must and a household where he won’t be left for long periods of the day. He is a people oriented dog and loves being around his humans. Any potential home would be well vetted first. We want the best home and best life for our boy and this is a heart breaking decision. Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints

They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise

The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
